I saw an anemone at the LFS today that I first mistook for a leather. Upon closer inspection it had the structure of a carpet, but the tentacles were feathery, almost like a dendronephthya.
The owner said his collector only had them labeled as 'sand anemones' and that they were from Fiji. He said they weren't aggressively "sticky" like carpets. They were unlike any anemone I've seen, even others called sand anemones. I'd like to pick one up, but want to know about them first.
Anyone have experience with these? Still trying to find a picture.
