I forgot to put back on the filter when I turned it on while feeding. He likes to hang out next to the maxi all the time.

ugh, I had a filefish get stuck to a power head. He ended up being fine but they are not strong swimmers.

In nature they float around in the water column especially at night. when I first got mine I found found him attached to the side of the wave maker a few times. make sure he's eating, it will help to fatten him up. Hope he makes it.

wow, good for you. I have never pulled a fish off of a powerhead and had it live.

Yeah! they can be jumpers so be careful around the tank when lights are off, or install a cover.

That's usually at night. Tough to be careful while sleeping. aAmd being careful for a jumping fish seems like it would be almost constant oberservation.

Get a cover. All fish will jump, some are just more likely. No cover? you will have a carpet surfer.
