Filtration on qt

What type of filter do you run on a qt. seems the copper would pull out the medicine.

Assume you meant carbon not copper ...... and, yes, it likely would which is why carbon is neither necessary nor desired. Absent ammonia issues, water quality isn't a big deal for fish in QT. Just need to ensure adequate bio filtration.

Use pillow floss from the sewing store. Cheaper than fish floss and just as effective. Use one day, toss, use one day, toss.

Air driven sponge filters are excellent for QT filtration. Plenty of biological filtration capacity, and cheap.

I just run a aquaclear with a sponge then add carbon when you want to remove the medication
