well fter a 21 hour flight from afghanistan to germany then to ireland, then bangor, maine, then finally home!!! 24 months now i have been deployed, lol, and in another 15 months will begin to be 36 months deployed....i couldnt even see in my tank because of the coralline, i wouldnt let my wife clean it...literally, couldnt see in at all!!!! lol..it was fun cleaning it, then put it in the 14k phoenix 250w mh bulb, very pleased...also, put in the asm skimmer, also very pleased...anywyas, i saw something i cant identify, i am going to describe it for you guys...looks like it should be a feather duster tube, but looks to only have two antenna like things coming out of the tubes, just two little thin hairlike antennaes...well, let me know what you think!

Glad to here your back! Good timing too, I'm sure the family will be glad to have you home for the holidays.

I have those some tube worms all over my tank, they are good to have. I think that they are known as spaghetti worms.

Thank you for your service and glad you are home!

I have those things all over my tank also. No harm, just a critter. I am glad your wife kept your tank up and running for you and everything is healthy.

If you know anyone needing a coraline boost you can actually catch the scrappings when you chisel that stuff off and dump the coraline slurry in another tank and watch it take off. I was having trouble getting it started good in my new tank and Poolkeeper gave me a rubbermaid of pink slush from a back glass scrapping and I was totally covered in coraline in no time flat.

yes, i am happy with the way the tank ended up!!! all my corals have grown great and pet palace gave me some great deals on alot of frags, 25% off.....it looks good now, it ended up being a great looking reef with alot of plants as well...looks pretty neat....i see like 5 pest anemones, very small in my tank, is there a chance there will only be a few forever or is it for sure they will reproduce like crazy? thanks, mike

Mike, I'd start zapping them, but I had them reproduce even faster that way, one time. Best thing I did was to get some peppermint shrimp (the kind that Pet Palace sells) and they wiped them out in short order.
