Finally got my tank going

this was the first time i ever touched wood (wait lol) seriously if you need any help ill be happy to give you a hand

thanks the stand took forever since i could only work on it one day a week in my parents garage

looks sweet!! btw i see what u were telling me about the spongodes but luckily it encrusts first then it branches so u will have some time before it hits the glass .

Lighting

since i dont have a canopy i wanted to find a discreet way of adding some antinic lighting so i opted for a couple 460nm powerbrites and modded my pendant almost looks oem lol

Dosing

previously i was adding lime to my ato to maintain my calc and alc but my ph has been going a bit to high for my taste (pH8.6+) so i built a DIY dual doser unit to replace the kalk with randy's 2-part

Nice, thank you. I am facing the same issue on my new build. I want to go with the Aqua Medic pendants for the compact size, but don't want to give up the supplemental lighting for dusk/dawn.

Very nice project, with your DY skill level have you considered a canopy to conceal the fan? I feel would give if nice finish.

actually I'm not a huge fan of canopies but i have an azoo twin fan I've been thinking of changing too but idk whether it could handle cooling the tank
