Finally got Picassos

They are still in lock down...lol
Im gonna keep them in the box for a few more days. I'll take some more pics tomorrow. I love these guys. They are so worth the money!

I like your little version of a QT/ feeding tank so do you just open up the lid on top to feed them? or try and go thru the slots? And very nice looking clowns im lucky my wifes the one begging and whinning to me to get them lol

Its a Critter Keeper from Petco.I go threw slots to feed the clowns, and the lid ever few days to feed the nem.

So I finally couldnt handle seeing them in the box. They had been all over the malu nem. I let them free into the 150. The nem seems to be right where i put it, but the clowns are to busy cruzing around the tank to care about the nem.

Heres an update....They still havent found there nem yet. The nem is slowly starting to get its purple back since they are in the main tank...

awesome pickup! i had a pair of snows 9 1 Died) and they were starting to darken up. its been 4 months since i had mine, and i still stare at them in awe..
it took mine less than a week to find and jump in my RBTA, but i got a 24g nano so they didnt have to look hard for the nem. hehe

why did you keep them in the critter cage? just asking. its a neat idea.

That other fish is a Male Lyretail Anthia. I kept them in lock down to try to make sure they would pair up, and find the Nem.They seem to stay together for the most part, but still havent gone back to the nem. In the box they were in the nem, but now out in the vast ocean of my 150(hahaha) they havent. Im sure in time they will.

nice picassos! i cant wait to order some of my own.

the difference is how many lines are connected and on how many sides. grade a has is supposed to have all three vertical line touching by a horizontal one and on both sides.

My Picassos lived in their RBTA for close to a year, never straying far from it. I moved the tanks which included putting them in a bucket for a few hours then back into the tank, lo and behold they refused to go back to the RBTA They lived avoiding the RBTA for 6 months, eventually I transferred them to the new tank with the original RBTA and it took another 7 months, they finally have started to hang out with the anemone for a few hours a day but still sleep by the overflow. They have yet to "dive" into the anemone, more hanging under it and in the tentacles a bit. Weirdos :D.

Gorgeous pair you have there. Once the black starts to come in they will be just stunning. My female has a lot more black than the male and she is a looker :).
