Finally my 90 gallon reef

Just finished setting up my ATO. It is one of the diy 3 float switch kits. It went alot easier then I thought it would making the brackets for the switches. I really need to get in gear on my canopy. So I can get my lights going.......

Have some more done and some new pictures. Have my VHOs setting on top of tank waiting for me to finish painting my canopy. Tank received some new life today: 1 Black and White clown, 1 Orange and White clown, 15 Cerith snails, 5 small Nassarius snails and 5 Trochus snails. Starting to look like a reef tank. When I get my canopy on I will put my leathers in. Here is some pictures for you.

I also have my fuge going. I poured a jar of DT's pods in it hoping to jump start it. LOL I could see stuff in the water but whether they were alive or not is the question.

Some Zoos, I have a couple more put they haven't opened up fully yet. I also have a finger leather in the tank but it hasn't polyed back up yet also. Need to get on the sanding and painting my canopy where I can get my MHs going. I also installed my Reefkeeper lite the other night and love it. It will be nice not having to worry about the temps and having alarms to let me know if something is wrong.

Right now I have my 4 X 110 Vho's sitting on top of tank: 2 atinics and 2 white. But I also have 2 X 250 IceCap MHs to go in my canopy. I want a mixed reef with alot of LPS and SPS that is the reason for the metal halides. I want to run my Vho's for about 10 hours a day and just run my MHs for about 4 to 6 to give growth a boast. It might be overkill put I have seen a lot of 90s on here with close to the same setup.

I have the first coat of paint on the inside and most of the outside of my canopy. Hopefully I will have it on by next weekend, will have to let the smell die down for awhile.

Had to kill 4 aiptasia tonight and found 1 more that I will get tomorrow. :hammer: Starting to get some pineapple sponges, was kind of worried until I found out what they where. :thumbsup:

I still have some diatoms and pineapple sponges but everything is looking good. "Knock On Wood" Hopefully tomorrow I am going to add some more to my CUC. I want to add a few more of each of the snails and 2 peppermint shrimp. I am getting a few Aiptasia and hopefully they will take care of that. I was wanting to add a Royal Gramma but Premium Aquatics doesn't have one in now, I also called a few other places looking for one.

When the diatoms go away I have some more LPS to add to the tank. I have a torch, hammer, closed brain and a single head of duncan.
