more info on the 300 gal string ray pond?

hope no one minds since they are freshwater....

First off, you have a very nice tank. I love the rock setup.

second just for my knowledge (because i hope to get about a 120g tank someday) what is the tank size to fish ratio anyway. I have a 10g with one fish I would like to add one or 2 more small ones.

Do you mean fish inches per gallons? Don't go by that rule. Such as tangs, maybe 6-10" fish or so for some of them, but they need 6' or longer tanks in some cases, there is a 150 gallon custom made tank that is 4 feet long and this guy houses 5 tangs and they all get along well. Just all depends I guess, more room the better.
For the 10 gallon, I would think something real small, clown gobies, or a firefish type of thing maybe.

hi michael, I dont want to critisize, but way to many fish for a reef, but is it a reef or a fowler? Lions dont work out in a reef, they are HUGE wastemakers, especially if you feed them live feeders. but i love the aquascaping and the set up I'm a firm uv supporter i love them. Couldn't you have gotten away with the 9w i believe it works up to a 125gal. i have a 75gallon with 6 fish, and the nitrate is always 0 (a pair of percs, a hippo tang{the size of a quater}a pair of Lyretail Anthias, and a small neon gobby) dont let people with small tanks or inadequate filtration effect your dreams

depends on the size of the tank some 4 inch fish can go in a 40 gallon but some 6inch fish like tangs a 90 would be minimum
so it depends of the fish you want and the size of your tank
