finally starting to build the system

joined NCPARS Sep 11, got side tracked, just now starting to build the system.. will try to make meeting one of these days, but will be out of state during the Apr meet.

465g DT on order, delivery still 6 wks out -- will be in wall in 10x15 fish room

other stuff (on order or in):
- Apex
- BK 300 Ext
- 2 Rubermaid 150g stock tanks for sump & refug
- 4 VorTech 40wES
- 6 Radions
- sand
- salt
- GFO & carbon reactors
- various pumps
- RO/DI system
- 2 holding tanks for plain & salt water
- plumbing hw


even though we're starting to build it, its going to be months before anything is really happening... but its finally starting to happen.

in NE PA just below Binghamton, NY. Got the house build finally finished, barn mostly finished, now working on the reef build...

Moved here from Bay Area in 2009, havent had a system since 2006... anxious to get this one going...

awesome! I look forward to seeing it one day when it's complete . One small suggestion: If you plan to keep sps you may find you need more flow than what four mp40's can provide.

+1...I upgraded to 2 mp60s and 1 MP40 on my 8' 450g tank ...in addition to 2 sea swirls and 2 returns with eductors

Sounds like a nice build! I am higher up in Nepa as well, about 30 miles south of the Binghamton area. Nice to see other people out in the middle of nowhere as well lol.
