finaly fire up my 180g tank

well i finaly startup my 180g will be reef lol is only water and sand i will pos more later i just want it to show some pics i have being building this tank for a year allready but i was living in a 5f floor apartment i was not able to fill it up this are some pic of my proress

my DIY pawer plant lol the MH i have 2/250 and /400 20k

i install this fan for cooling

this are my new reflector i was using shiny from home depot this my frean gave me a big pis and i cut it to make this ones

this is my reefdart pump i am using this one for my cloos loop

this is the tank with the sand i have 5" of sothdown sand

this is tha tank i will pos more pic really soon i have my cal reactor and my skimmer to finish building

Hey Manny, looking good so far man, I took out all my rock today to re-do it, only keeping about 25% of it as most of the corals I purchase are large colonys and are on large rocks so my tank looked too clustered...

Manny wish you luck with it, just got my tank back up had 260 gals water
delivered , I had to buy two 100 gal tanks just to keep salt water. the water is trucked in for Cal. So mutch for living in Las Vegas I will send you photos of what made it out here alive. I had to get a 100 lbs of sand to replace the sand I left behind that you got. I will be getting 50 more lbs tomorrow.

TriniReefer - just go to radioshack and buy a 12V transformer. I use one to run my two 120mm fans...

Looking good. I have a question about your closed loop. It look sas if you have an over-the-top intake? Is that true, what pump are you using? Any more details?

I am about to set up a 210. I was considering drilling holes in the back, but it makes me nervous for many reasons. I might copy your set up!
