Finnex M-Tank (32 gal) -- Opinions/Comments

Howdy All ----

Considering a small reef tank, and have been shopping a bit.
Came across the Finnex M-Tank. Wondering what the prevailing opinions and experiences have been with them. Also, it appears their rating (32 gal) also includes the water in the filter system -- right??

Hiya Fantastic --
There are pictures of the back of this unit on the web. I had to surf a bit but found a couple, not real good ones but enough to give you a feel for how they build the filtration compartments on the back. Also shows the p-skimmer too. I cannot post them right now....will try and find some larger ones, but someone else may have some or know where to find them. The Finnex site is rather poor when it comes to information and detail pictures.

Finnex makes some nice stuff, but....... an acrylic nano is VERY hard to keep from be scratched so badly you will want to throw it away in a matter of months. IMHO, I would opt for some of their glass tanks. Premium Aquatics has the specs/prices on all the Finnex glass tanks. There is no upside I can think of to an acrylic nano tank.

I have the 20 gallon M-Tank with the skimmer and a 70watt MH JBJ Viper lamp. I really like the tank. I got a non-scratch cleaning pad from my LFS and haven't made any scratches in the plastic yet.
