Fintastic in Rocky Hill has coral

His prices are spot on to . My Dad just grabbed a at 8"x8" green alveopora for $40 . Same colonies Ive seen around for $80+ .

Thanks, I'm going to have to check it out again this weekend. Looked like a nice place, the fish I got are doing great.

Thanks everyone for all the good hype about the store. I can not really post anything on here about the store, but all I ask is that everyone should support all their local pet and aquarium stores. I will not be able to carry everything, and if I know that PC has it or AC I will send them there. I am here for the sure fact that I love the hobby and the animals. PS. Dont get me wrong I do need to put my two boys through college.

Couple suggestions which u may have already planned would be. More inverts, several varieties of snails. Some mandarin feed ie copepods, copepods, copepods. Live brine too?

Do u have a frozen food freezer there? if so I didn't notice it?

the frozen freezer is right before the fresh water fish. prices are great. can't wait to go back to check out the corals...live brine would be great

for the frozen freezer I meant put some signs on it.

I'd love mandarin feed. as would everyone who accidentally buys a mandarin and wishes they hadn't cuz it starves.

went to Finstastic tonight...
couldnt have been happier while i was there they were unpacking a shipment of over 100 corals , the service was top notch owner was a great guy.... plus he gave me some pizza, and I picked up a hot pink carnation for an amazing deal. not to mention how nice the club membership discount was.

Overall prices amazing and tanks becoming fully loaded with very nice pieces of coral.

Drove down to Finstastic from MA this afternoon. Very nice store, extremely clean and well laided out. The coral room was quite nice and everything looked healthy.

Although I am not ready to start adding livestock into my tank yet I will definitely makes this one of my normal stops when looking. I could not just leave with out buying something so I picked up a Calc test kit from Todd and he was kind enough to extend to me my CTARS membership benefit even though I have not received my card yet. I really appreciated it, nor did I ask him to do it, he offered.

On the note of corals, I also stopped into Aqua Dreams in Feeding Hills, MA and they also had an enormous stock of pretty nice looking corals. I cannot really comment on price since A. I am no expert on what I am looking at and B. I have not really been shopping for corals yet. Just thought I would let everyone know. Will say this for Fintastic, I was greeted the second I walked in the door and Todd check in twice to make sure I was finding everything. At Aqua Dreams the teenager did not feel I was worthy of a greeting at any point in our 15mins in the store. Just thought that was worth pointing out.
