Firefish and lethargic blue tang treatment

I had an outbreak of ich that has wiped out most of my fish and I will not try the feed lots of garlic soaked food and hope they can fight it off method again. I'm setting up a hospital tank and getting some cupramine for my yellow tang, cleaner wrasse and chromis who have survived the initial wave of ich but I'm not sure what to do about the others.

I might have velvet as some fish looked to have the vail of death and I'm sure there are flukes too. I treated my reef with prazi 5 days ago and will begin transferring to QT tomorrow.

I've read firefish are very sensitive to copper so not sure what to
Do with them as they seem unaffected by any disease in the tank. The blue tang might be dead when I get home as he was fine until a day ago and now is very lethargic and breathing very rapidly. I thought he survived the initial outbreak but maybe not.

Any advice guys?

My firefish went through 4 weeks of Cupramine @ 0.40mg/l with no issues whatsoever. Only change in behavior was he was more shy than usual, but he ate like a pig during the entire treatment.

That makes me feel a little better, I guess I'll try them with te cupramine and see how they do with it.

Any ideas on the blue tang?

Sorry, I don't have any experience with hepatus tangs. Most tangs do pretty well with copper as long as you ramp up the dosage slowly.
