firereef 180 gallon build

Yup. I actually have two 180 gallon tanks. One is a blue back and one is a black back. Both tanks are exactly the same as far as demensions. After I build the one you see here, I,ll build the blue back on my own. Heres a pic of the other tank.

Ill buy your bio balls from you... Im building a very large filter for my koi pond out of a 55g drum and I have enough for 1 stage, but I could use another 5g bucket worth to finish it off. PM me if your interested in getting rid of them.

Your making nice progress! Your sump is looking great. The pic of that huge tank on that flimsy table give me the chills though lol.

I'm honestly not in need of money so what you can do is contribute towards the tank that you see and the bio balls are yours. It can be anything... A piece of live rock, a book, hell.. I'll even take a piece of 2x4 lol

Nice looking start Ill be subscribing to this thread as am in the process of cycling my tank and always like watching new buils to get ideals.

I acutually liked the tray. I'm not sure Michael was talking about the same thing...did you not like the SUBMERGED tray Micheal?

I like submerged trays because they give good shelving for grow out frags or sectioning off for a fuge. Macro is a very good thing!

LOL! Ok let me try to straighten things out. I think there's a little cofusion going on... First off, the tray is in my sump were my return pump is (not in my actual tank) I had it there cuz anytime I had to work in my sump I placed things like wet live rock, pumps, or when I cleaned my skimmer on it. ( to keep from wetting my home floor.
