very pretty BTA. I particularly like the glowing pale green color. Looks big based on the relative size of the clown.

WELCOME TO REEF CENTRAL. Sorry, I don't know how to do the grapic display.

It would be a nice bTA if it wasn't so bleached. Your BTA has very little zooxanthellae algae in its tissue which means its not getting the left over nutrients for your anemone to have.

To bring your BTA back from its bleached state, do weekly water changes and feed your BTA small feedings of pieces of silversides or shrimp. Make sure you feed your BTA everday, but do not overfeed.

hello, sorry for the slow reply, I had exams this week... in reply to lights, Im using 4 30W, t8 lights I think... two 18k and 2 blue actinic. This is a photo just taken, showing my two beautiful clowns and the anemone. atm im thinking of adding 1-2 150W MH lights, just to increase the total light intank

What size is your tank and how deep is it? At what depth is the anemone positioned?

Adding 1-2 150 watt MH fixtures would increase the light immensely! I would only add one for now just so you don't overkill your tank with light.

Hello, my tank is 36x12x15 it’s about 120L, the anemone has found a nice spot, I have about a 3 inch sand bed and the bottom of the anemone is about 2 inches above that, therefore its mouth is about 8 inches away from the light. It’s moved upward since that last photo.

Im feeding it daily on either frozen mysis, shrimp or whitebait (silversides). I hope that with continued care I can help it regain its zooxanthellae :(

Ill be getting at least one MH set up soon and maybe redesign my whole hood to accommodate another

Regards
Simon
