First attempt at a SW

This will be my first SW tank with hopes of making it a mini reef tank. It is a 55g with a 20g sump. I didn't think to take many pictures in the initial stages but from here on out I will start taking more.

The tank is largely DIY with stand, protein skimmer and sump all DIY.

The stand frame is built and now I just need to add some plywood and start on finishing details.

Yea unfortunately that tank was used and I was told by the pet store that it was initially bought from that it was not tempered...

I have been working on concealing the frame on the inside. It has been fully covered in 3/4" plywood now.

Tank has been painted. This is a picture after the first couple of coats. Will post one of the finished paint job after work.

As you can tell I decided against drilling again and am now going to use a siphon to drain the DT to the sump.
