First carpet. Take a look.

This is my first carpet.

It looks like a haddoni to me but I'm a novice.

I'm not sure about its health, but it is very sticky and is eating.

Any advice or opinion on its health would be greatly appreciated.

I already have cipro available if needed.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Dave

VERRRY NIIICE!! How long have you had it? You might let it acclimate to your tank for awhile before feeding again.

I found it a local pet store in Kileen Texas.
I was passing though on business.
I've had it for 1 day.

I'll wait on feeding it again Bill. Thanks for the advice.
I just wanted to make sure that it could eat in order to better judge its health.

Thanks to everyone for the help.

My first anemone was a BTA. When I got it about 8 months ago, it was about 2 inches across and white.
It's now at least 10-12 inches and a nice dark green.
It no longer has bubble tips though.

I think I might be anemone guy.
Corals are nice, and I enjoy my fish, but there is just something about anemones....

Very nice Haddoni. About the best green anemone you can get. Rare or not, you cannot get a better green anemone than a Green Haddoni. Green Gigantea come close. With that many tanks, you can't be a novice. Maybe a novice to anemone (but you also keep a BTA for 8+ months)

You are right about there is something about anemone and clownfish. Welcome to our addict support group.

Why thank you. I think I will enjoy this group.

Now I just need to decide what clowns to pair with it...
I'm thinking pink skunks if they will accept it.

So right about addicts.... Still new to all this but loving anemones the most. We can make a new show later, Anemone Rehab.

I would pick a natural pairing for the clown / Haddoni, makes life far easier.

Natural clowns for Haddoni
A. akindynos, A. chrysogaster, A. chrysopterus, A. clarkii, A. polymnus, A. sebae
With that said, Percula and Ocellaris seem to do fine with Haddoni

Hi...my name is Jared, and I can't stop buying Magnifica's and Gigantea's.

I've been an addict for several years now.

When the anemone is rare and not found at LFS, I have problems when I come into contact with one. I can't help myself if they have any ting of color.

I automatically tell them to bag it before I know what's going on.

Just replace "Jared" with my name. Now that I'm on the hunt again for a gigantea, my fingers twitch when I catch word that one might be available. It's not an addiction, really...

That is one nice green haddoni. I agree with Orion that neon green haddoni are one of the nicest nems available. I thought about setting up another tank just to have one. Again, it's not an addiction. :p

I go into a cold sweat when I hear that Mag's and Gig's may be coming in.

Gig is so rare around here, that if I even see one (no matter the color or price) he will be in my possession before I remember what happened.

I black out in the LFS. I'm sick, very sick...

Its been about a year now since i got my first carpet, and it also was a green haddoni. Since then i know have 5 carpets (1 Gig and 4 haddonis) and had to upgrade my tank to get them the proper space...i say its an addiction...

I got 12 host anemones. It is a sickness. No end in sight

Yeah, and your addiction pushed me into the deep end. I've got a 75 DT, just picked up a 100G sump, and have a 100G Rubbermaid which are getting linked in just to help stabilize my water and provide extra space for nems.
