Ordered around 11 small fish from BlueZooAquatics on Thu, received Sat morning via Fedex overnight. One Starry Blenny is DOA :(
Have filed a claim, lets hope they are honest about this. Also 4 out of 5 hermits are not looking good. They are not moving at all, but they sure are alive. Probably still adjusting to new water.

Everything else looks healthy and happy for the most part. One bi-color blenny is sitting in the corner not moving much but is alert and responds to my movements.

I am surprised how less water was in each bag. Only enough to fill a small cup. I think the Starry blenny was sick to begin with and never made it. The hermits were just packed with a tissue and spoonful of water.

They did send a care package with drip pipe and some food + dipping solution that looks like formalin (blue color)

Hoping everything is going to make it long term. :D

BZ is a large retailer, probably the second largest behind Live aquaria, but I have only heard a couple of good things about them... Most reviews tend to be negative. With LA, you'll probably have a better experience

I think in livestock quality they are pretty much the same as LiveAquaria (sans DD).
The real difference is in the warranty and customer service. In that area LiveAquaria is clearly better.

This should really be under the vendor experience forum. That's good to only have one death with 11 fish shipped. Liveaquaria can't be matched with customer service and the Refund option, everyone else is a store credit

Yes, LiveAquaria and Blue Zoo have some fish the other doesn't have. For example Blue Zoo has (via Pacific Aqua Farms) their own collection station on the Solomon Islands and would be your best source for wild Solomon percula.
They are usually also a better choice if you want pairs of certain fish and shrimp species, though they not always get it right either.

But when it comes to guarantee, credits and refunds nobody beats LiveAquaria.
