first order

just placed and order and cant wait to get them in
been wanting a really nice colored yellow belly hippo for a while!
its not really my FIRST order, just been a while since the last time i did order from liveaquaria, but i did buy a chiller and a lot of other stuff from dfs
sitting on the edge waiting in anticipation!!!

The package came in around 12:30, fairly quickly since it was shipped by 3pm
I acclimated the yellow belly with the drip method for about an hour. When I released the tang into the tank, he went straight to the bottom. Since this is my first tang I'm not sure if that's normal. I've had wild clowns do that but they were breathing heavy when they did that and didn't make it. The tang doesn't seem to be breathing hard. The micro looked a little odd when I first put it into the tank, but now it looks ok.

It is not uncommon for fish to become stressed during the shipment and acclimation to your aquarium. We recommend keeping your lighting system off for the remainder of the day and keeping your aquarium as peaceful as possible.
