First Pics Of Mantis

I finally got a pic of my mantis. It has been eating well and has completed a molt but rarely comes out of it pvc burrow. I based on pics I suspect smithii, but wonder as this little one is not very active outside its burrow.





Here is a pic with a filter trying to show what looks like the dark spots.

From what I can tell its a smithii. Where'd ya find him?

He was at my LFS labeled as a peacock. He is now getting more active since my GF has not been trying to feed him each day. Going to feed 3 times a week and keep CUC for him to snack on.
