my first RC transaction:
i bought a chiller off a RC member with plans of using asap. i recieved the chiller this morning, took it out of the box n examined it, its broken. i looked through the back grill n saw that the outtake was broken. i can see the tape that was used to try to fix it. good thing i didnt run it before checking it out, woulda been a damn disaster (tank on second floor with carpeting). so what am i gonna do now? i was really excited for this chiller because im supposed to be getting more livestock in my tank and i got this chiller bacause my tank has been hitting 85 degrees. im most definitely expecting a refund, although i wouldve rather had a working chiller. the seller will remaim nameless pending the resolution of this conflict. what am i gonna do about all this stuff im supposed to pick up in the next few days. here the pics:
this is what it looked like looking through the back grill of the chiller
i decided to unscrew the back casing to get a better look....
heres the piece i found laying at the bottom
