Like everyone said, your tank and aquascaping looks real good. Can't wait to see the tank again when the water clears up.

Well Done,

Chris

Looking good... but you may regret having put those damsels in there :) (nasty little buggers once they get established).

I love your setup so far.. very clean looking design, both in and out of the tank. I am glad that I subscribed to your thread early on to stay caught up :)

thanks everyone, my tank is just fill as we speaks with no kind of filtrations except for my 2 CL running on OM 4-ways. tonight i will have main sump & skimmer online. my fluidized reactor will be arriving in couple days since i have it fedex 2nd day air to me. original one was 9 liter capacity and the new one has 14 liters.

yeah, the damsels can be a pain. I don't have any for that reason, but I think in a large tank it will probably be OK.

Bart, at least toss a couple of giant socks with carbon into your sump! Skimmer will help but I think carbon will clear the water about as fast as anything else. Just put it in some flow.

thanks Jonathan, i will do that and for the damsels it's not too bad but when i get finished with them i will drop 110v into main display sending them to the chair :lolspin: :blown: :bum:

If the rock is Live Rock, the water will clear quickly anyway.

thanks Marc, yes the water cleared up fast since all live rock and sand was used. it was cloudy from me stirring the sand bed the next day moving some rocks around.

Nice end view pic :D -I want you to think about KEEPERZ every time you look down the longside of your tank:D -looking good-your rock trip was well worth it

I just spent the last few hours reading your entire thread…I must say well done.

still going to be die-off and I wouldn't do it without a large quantity of carbon. It will certainly help reduce the cycle IMO.

yeah 3 bags will be used, i have already purchased 3 cases black diamond.

70-80% carbon and 20-30% Phosban and changing media once or twice a month was the plan depending on the load.

I think that you might find it easier if you run each in their own reactor rather than mixing the two.
