NICE!! :bum: Stand definitely looks solid. Are you going to use the SPAR varnish or something else to coat the stand?

Wow! You definitely get the prize for Stand Madman!! Totally wild.

That ZRO/DI storage tank is sweet. Can you post or PM with dimensions, make & model number, and where you got it? I really could use something like that...

that's fine also I been thinking about that too, so off the paint. I have been taking a break now for two days straight and sleeping when I come home from work, but will start on it again soon as my he-man powers comes back into play, lol

not yet, but this baby is real thick at least 3/8" also very durable and should have no problems because of height. dimension 3'H x 4'L x 3'W I just like to spend a little more money the first time so don't have to do it again later (pay me now or pay me later) that's how I look at it.

ok my powers have kick in, another all nighter baby.lol

Well I have two 96g Rubbermaid Super Duty Garbage cans I am using right now but they are bowing and I know at some point I will need to replace them. The issue for me is the footprint involved and I really like the dimensions of the tank you got.

need help on what lighting to use for refugium, also any ideas looking into T5 for frag since tank is only 17" tall but with egg crate stand will be lifted up higher and also what will be good in frag tank (DSB or just BB) and flow, etc.
will be plumbing this weekend, any tricks for main sump as far as the chiller intake, skimmer return, and etc.
my bulkheads body for all the back are inside which means gasket is on the outside of the tank and will this make a difference or have any effect just didn't want the plumbing to goes anywhere else besides straight down and definitely didn't want to use flex pvc.

T5s would work great. I have them on my display and had them on my frag tank. What size is the frag tank again? What do you plan to prop? SPS, LPS, softies, mix?

Out of curiosity, why no flex PVC? concerned about vibration and noise?

The gasket can go on either side.

Looking Sweet.

Just an idea. When I ran wires in my house during construction I used tie wraps that had a hole so they could be screwed in. It was really simple, cheap , and looked nice. I always like when wires are dressed nice. I would just screw on a bunch of tie wraps down a 2x4. When I was done running all my wires I zipped them all together. You really don't want the wires to be hanging like that. Especially the way your whole system is looking. TOP NOTCH !!

never did like flex pvc, only when no other choice. i dont think i will hear any noise because enclosed in garage.

Main sump looks hard to access... Maybe it's the pictures.

I agree.

Maybe he will have a removable panel from the front facing the display side? Looks like he has the entire wall opened from floor to ceiling.

Looking good so far though!
