Tbone, Holacanthus arcuatus. Angelfish is a hit or miss a little nipping here and there doesn't hurt

i would be too if im on vacation . sweet bandit angelfish as im not ready for that bad boy maybe in the future. i bought some high dollars fishes in the beginning and lost them due to ich so not ready to make the same mistake again. when i know for certain my water parameters are where they supposed to be then i will start my collection again.

melev - that's a lot of work scraping coraline off. it would have been nice if all those holes wasn't drilled in the rear of display then i can use magnet cleaner, but maybe next tank will be much better design

PaPa_Johnny - thanks as i know now its a patience game as it will grow if i give it time

erics3000 - that's the largest one from deltec FR1020 with 3600g of phosban, but i will change this media soon and go with something else maybe like rowaphos.

top tank - 100gal 2nd fuge currently with 400lbs live sand, 80lbs live fiji rocks, 3 fishes (sohal, purple and dussumier tang) that will be last ones going back into main display when tang collection is done.

2nd tank - 100gal frag tank if i ever get some frag . as of now OCT-150 skimmer for heavy feeding 3 yellow belly regal tang from the 10 i started with , desjardini sailfin and sun polyp. connected to main system

3rd tank - 180gal water change sump

Yes, the first time you scrape it will be a big job. However, if you stay on top of it weekly, it doesn't take that long to be honest. Usually I can get it done in about 20 - 25 minutes. I scrape every two or three weeks.

Where do you mix your water for w/c's? What else do you have in the first sump, and the 1st is under your display correct? Anything else you would change. I want to get mine done when I get back home. I was going to use 2 rubbermaid trashcans for storage and mixing. But now that i am changing my 75 fuge for my old 150, i was thinking I could just use the 75 for ro storage. I would have more then twice the capacity of the trash can. Are there any pros or cons to doing it like that. I would rather make use my 75.
