First SPS - growth question

Picked up a BOP and a green seriatopora (with green pocillopora hitchhiker also on the frag disk) from a swap this past saturday.

Within 30 mins, all had excellent polyp extension (1-3 mm) and have remained that way since.

I know seriatopora are fast growing, but is it possible to have visible growth within a few days of changing tanks? Both frags have visible growth tips.

I'm specifically asking about the BOP, the green is a much larger frag and would require more growth to be noticeable. It appears to have some growth tips that I didn't notice before.

Either way, the fact that they are in the tank, polyps extended, makes me happy.

For me, they got growth tips first, then slowly started to grow, after a few weeks the growth kept getting more each week, until it was almost a noticeable amount each day (very small but noticeable).

polyps out so fast is a good sign :)

Thanks. The BOP is a little browned out, green tissue is only visible at the base of polyps, but since the polyps are out, I'm not too worried.

It's not a fixed growth, but rather something that goes along with your water quality.
I've had corals with almost no growth for years, but still good color and polyp extension.
