Hey RC,
Just got my first carpet. LFS wasn't sure what kind. Ill post pics in a bit when i can for ID.
Its a green. It was trade in from another reefer, and had been in the LFS for 2 months or so. It appeared extremely healthy. Got it for $50. Hope i did ok. Seemed like a real fair price.
It has been in my tank for about a week now. Its fully inflated, and mouth is tight.
The mouth is tight, but not round if that makes sense. It is more elongated like an actual persons closed mouth than it is round.Hope this is normal.
Other than that, which may be normal, it sems to be doing great. Burried its foot really quick first day, and has been in the same place ever since.
Its about 10 inches in diameter.
It has yet to host my large female yellow stripe maroon, so hopefully time will bring them together. Maybe when i attempt to add a male it will push the relationship forward.
Anyways, just wanted to share. Ill post photos ASAP.
