This isn't unusual of anemones. It's simply a faster way to travel. BTA's have been known to do this in tanks.

i also would have to agree that this is not a anemone, and is infact a jelly...........but i would reallly like to be wrong, cuz that would be just plain awesome.

I've seen my RBTA's do this a couple of times, in the process of relocating themselves. It's definitely cool to watch, although in my tank it's a bit of an (agh!) situation since it means they're moving out of anemone central...
