The lady at the fish store said they were something eyes maybe tiger eyes or something. I looked at zoaid and the only thing i could find close was wham-n-watermelons

so are they cool or are they the kind everyone has? Either which way i like them.

Thanks Tim

I don't know the exact name but you could check out www.club-zoa.com to see if they know. It's all about Zoathids on that forum and I would say that some are expects for sure.

I really like them! Good luck with your new eye candy!

definately eagle eyes...they grow pretty quickly, and just because they aren't rare doesn't mean they aren't sweet!

Yep thats my plan lettin them grow. I looked on zoaid and couldnt find other pics of eagle eyes. Anyone got a diff pic of some so i can see them? Do all eagle eyes have orange and yellow in them or are there diffrent kind of colors?

eagle eye is the name for that specific color morph...unfortunately, names are just for color combinations and not based on any taxonomy.

Awesome zoas and I agree 100% with the above comment that just because they are a fairly common type, they are yours and look great. I can't wait to get my first zoa(s).

I remeber when these were the zoas to have.THey werent so common and you had to pay a nice price for them.

Your Eagle eyes are slightly washed out, but will color up over time.
Excellent looking zoas and fast growers, you'll be pleased to see how they turn out. Here is what they look like when they are at the peak of their color.

Wow i figured everyone said what there gonna say about this thread and stopped looking at it but now there is more to comment on, thanks everyone.

Well first i have a teklite t5 set up with 2 blue+ on the outsides and a aquablue and a daylight bulb in the middle. I have a problem with things bleaching in my tank i cant understand why. The lights are about 7 inches off the water and things just bleach for some reason. Although my crocea clam seems to like the light very well. I cant tell but my wife was away for 2 months and when she came back she noticed it was bigger.

But anyways zoas are addictive very much so as Equinox said. Actually my lfs is having a 40%off sale tomorrow on all corals so ima go get some more zoas. Ill post the pics of what i get tomorrow night.

I have a cannon a610 which if i learn how can take good pics. My zoas dont look as good as the ones do in your pic Reef Junkie but they do look better in real life than the pic i put up

Well thanks to all thet respond, Tim

No not really i just feed the tank cyclopeeze every other couple days. I have no clue weather it gets any or not but i have been told the clam and the other corals i have do get it from the water column

I bought some more zoas today ill post a pic a little later. I have no clue what the name of them are so i gotta look into that aswell
