Three days ago I took the hood off my Red Sea Max 130D and upgraded the lighting with an AI Hydra 26 HD. Since then, my Firefish Goby and Royal Gamma have been staying hidden away in their sleeping spots in the rock work except for a few minutes each day when I feed the tank. My Snowflake Clown, Flame Angel, and Yellowtail Damsel seem unaffected by the lighting change. The lighting is certainly much more 'blue' than what they're used to from the old power compact bulbs (I had been running them 10 hours a day).
1) Any advice on what to do about the fish?
2) Any advice on my current settings?
The Hydra settings are as follows:
Sunrise @ 8:30am, Sunset @ 7:30pm, 3 hour ramp time
Since the light is new, I have acclimation turned ON (50% with 4 week duration).
UV 35%
Violet 45%
Royal 125%
Blue 100%
Green 10%
Deep Red 20%
Cool White 60 %
At night I turn the UV, Violet, Royal, and Blue on at 1% each (Green, Red, and White OFF).
