Fish are strange

Have a 6ft long tank and only three fish, finally reaching four today.

What happens? They all live in a two foot area, max. The clown stays in, or near, the anemone. The flame angel is usually right near the clown. The lemonpeel stays in back much of the time, but is never far from the flame. Now, I add the royal gramma that SHOULD be hiding for a bit, but instead it swims all over, eating, and already seems to have a hole picked out RIGHT under the anemone!!!!

I still have four feet of empty tank, while four fish act like they are at a birthday party on the other end!

Dats funny right dere.

Mine kinda do the same in the 150 but theyre usually all on one side or the other. Fish do seem to hang out together. My tangs always did.
My gramma pops up all over my 55 but lives by the clowns to and I think they fight under the cave like kids where I can't see them lol

I know what you mean. Mine was like that until I got my tang and that fish is all over the place and it seems to encourage the others to get out more as well.

Connie said she knows exactly where they are all hanging together on just one end.

The huge guerilla crab we can't catch is on the other end and SHE doesn't want to go near it either !!!

And WHY will my ocellaris go clear across the tank to bite ME, but shows NO agression to any other fish, and seems to enjoy them all hanging out in front of his anemone?

LOL, BTW Kass, that would be one of the clowns that was so small in our order you couldn't find them It's grown ALOT !! Found the other one on the floor a long time ago though He must have had to work at it though. One thing I hate about my tank is the three access holes instead of euro bracing. He not only had to jump through the hole, but flop his way the wrong direction to the edge.

Oh, and it never tries to attack the scraper I'm holding. It's too smart for that. It WAITS until my hand happens to break the surface and THEN strikes!

Connie has burned herself on the lights a few times from jumping when it got her.
