Fish Compatability?

Grizzled & Cynical
Looking for anyone who has direct experience with .....

1. Keeping multiple watchman gobies - I have a large diamond watchman in my 265, and a smaller yellow prawn watchman in one of my kids tanks. Could I move the latter in with the former? It is a big tank, but I have never tried to keep more than a single watchman.

2. My LFS has a few of those green clown gobies at the moment. I have heard that they can be nippers. Anyone keeping them in a reef tank successfully?

Thanks!

I also like watchmans. Adult Males will fight and one will get killed. Sometimes even males of different species of watchman will fight. I have lost quite a few like this. The mated pairs live about 12 years and spawn continousely. You can add all the females you like.
My tank is 6' long

Paul, I really like how you have things in your tank that you would find on a reef or shipwreck. Ie... Chain and bottle. The 4th picture down looks very natural

Paul, has this tank actually been running continuously since 1971? Other than the fact that the tank itself has hung together for that long, would rather put the lie to old-tank syndrome!

The females smell better.

Thank you Dmorty, does this also look natural? :uhoh3:

Not quite as natural as the chain and bottle but I like it! How long has that stuff been in the tank? Did you do anything special to the chain before putting it in there?

I made that chain out of acrylic and I collected that can in the sea and coated it with fiberglass resin.
The tank was started in 71 in a 40 gallon tank, but in about 78 I moved, so I took it with me and put everything into this larger tank.
