Fish compatibility – 120G (Snowflake Eel, Niger Trigger, Tang)

I'm about to pull the trigger (no pun intended) on converting one of my fresh tropical (120G) to FOWLR. I've been wanting to get some more aggressive fish than my reef will allow.
Any firsthand experience with the following are welcome. I've seen some conflicting info:
Snowflake Eel
Niger Trigger or Humu
Blue Hippo Tang (or other) I really like the Achilles Tangs as well

i'd personally go with smaller varieties of tangs and triggers to attempt this. niger, humu, hippos and achilles all get too big for a 120.

The humu grows so slow that if you got a small one, he'd live in that tank for well over 5 years and maybe even longer; if you keep only a few fish he'll be fine. Of course the eel is no problem. If you like tangs good for a 120, check out the mimic tangs(chocolate tang as an adult). The niger does grow faster but especially here people over exaggerate how fast they grow and how big they get in a home aquarium. Achilles doesn't really grow that fast or big for that matter, but they do need more swimming space and can be a bit difficult to care for.

I really like the humu and it seems like one of the smaller triggers. Some sites say*minimum 90 gallons.
Also 5 years.. given my current upsizing habits, I'll*have around a 1000 gallon tank by then :)

Also by, "about to pull the trigger" I mean I have found a home for my tropical fish in other tanks, cycling water and am fish shopping.
