Fish Food Sale with Doctors Foster and Smith

Ken,

If I remember correctly, you need to avoid anything roasted when going that route. There's an Asian Market on Central Ave, but I only found roasted seaweed there and I'm guessing that's what they have at Price Chopper as well, but I'd be very happy to be proven wrong. I have a lot of tangs to feed as well.

If we can find a place to buy some from in bulk, I'd definitely be interested.

If I'm correct there is the asian market near Colvin and also one near the colonie youth center by the Butcher Block. I think there is another one within a few minutes of these, need to check.

Vin,
I've never heard anything on the roasted topic. What is the reasoning behind not using it? The only thing that comes to mind would be loss of certain vitamins? Does the packaging usually state that it's roasted? I think mine is completely in Japanese, but I'll check when I get home.

Funny......thats the same thread I read about a year ago when I decided to go with the pricechopper nori.

My powderblue clearly prefers it over any other seaweed sheet I stick in there now. In fact, some brands he won't even touch.

If you were to see my PB, you'd agree he looks pretty "well fed". :D

My rabbitfish pigs out on it too.

I guess we'll have to check with Dan. He's the only one that stated to stay away from roasted. Unfortunately, he didn't state back then why you shouldn't use it. Hopefully he'll read this and chime in.

Did I miss anybody??? I can call in any changes today (I think).
Let me know.
