heya guys,
im in the process of setting up a 60g cube (24x24x24) and want some suggestions on fish. even though i have about 80g in total volume i dont want any fish that will get over 4 inches...cause its only 24" wide. like all i would really like tons of color. and fish that arent insanely hard to get to feed. i always enjoy seeing clown gobies perched in sps. i know they dont like conspecifics. but if i add them all at the same time and different color varients think i could pull off like 3-4? also are they easy to feed / care for? and then from there just any fish that would look sweet amongst sps =) thx in advance

i really love my sunburst anthias. other fish i would get for a 60 cube are yellow accessors or fridmandis, flame angel, not sure if you're into rare things, mystery wrasse or rhomboid....or even a small group of flasher wrasses would be nice

I love the sunburst also, but I havn't seen one that wasn't hard to feed....in fact most don't at all.

I think if you stick with the basics, you will have the best luck. Most of the "beginner" fish are that way because they are hardier. I too am in your boat, want good color and variety but low maintence.

Clown

Tangs, ich magnet though

Off brand damsels, like Talbots, though are a little mean

Gobie? Jumps, need canopy

Wrasse?, sometimes hide

Angels? May nip at SPS

whats the chance of a flame angel eatting sps? about 50%

About 10-25% actually. There was a big poll on here about 2 weeks ago.

75% responded that they had never had a problem. 15% said they'd had occasional nipping, but no damage, and 10% said that they had to remove it.
