Fish Hiding

I have a 50 gallon tank with about 40 pounds of live rock. It seems that rabbitfish hides a lot. The foxface used to hide a lot but comes out more since its been a couple months. Will my fish always hide or does it takes months/years for it to feel comfortable? Also one of my shrimp just hangs on a piece of live rock in the back. The new clown i got swims around and so does my hippo tang.

Shrimp will hang on rocks, some times upside down, and depending on the shrimp mayn't come out until the lights are off of stay out of the light and hang in a cave.

Rabbitfish are skiddish to began with and need a good size tank with open swimming room and some cover. A 50 gal tank, with 40lbs of LR, is probably to small for it and the fish is stressing out big time.

Would it be better in the long run to just take the rabbitfish out?
