well I am happy to say my fish made it through the plane ride..
I packaged them in a cooler insulated with paper and styro peanuts.. taped it shut and checked it with Alaska air as a pet..
The ticket office almost wouldnt let the fish on, I had to show them their own pet policy on my iphone to convice them.. so after that hassle and $100 pet transportion fee they are safe.
If these fish werent so important to me I would checked them as regular baggage but i wanted the assurance they would be taken indoors quickly during my 2.5 hour layover in freezing seattle from 8-1030pm
Thanks for the thought... I ended up bagging them together after I called liveaquaria. They said the short duration of the trip was short enough that bagging them together is what they suggested.. less bags, less to go wrong. and the clowns MAY* help reduced stress for eachother when they are together.
