I feel the same way in Atlanta. It's bizarre how prices vary for different fish in different stores that use the same wholesaler as well... I have not really found a rhyme or reason why the prices vary. There is no trend like nice SPS here and overpriced LPS or vice versa. It's not any general trend. It makes it really, really tedious to get what I consider a fair deal.

I only buy online these days, even impulse buys. It's just not worth it to go to 4 stores giving me the run around versus navigating to a couple websites even though I'm very particular with my livestock.

What I am planning on doing ( after some research ) is purchasing a few boxes of stock sent in from one of my wholesalers in Hawaii and then offer it to the general public at better pricing.

Pricing will be much better than what they are currently being sold for. Is this something that would interest you guys?

In Australia you will pay the following

Flame Angelfish - $80-100
Yellow Tangs - $100+
Tinkerii Butterflyfish $700+
Achilles Tangs - $500 +
Bandit Angelfish - $1000+
Goldflake Angelfish - $600
Crosshatch Triggers - $500+
Potters Angelfish - $200-250
Black Tangs - $1000-2000
Chevron Tangs - $400-500
Blue Throat Triggers - ?
Lemonpeel Angelfish - $50

Not a great idea...you're gonna get yourself banned!

My apologies I just wanted to find out because I wanted to bring in stuff for myself and a few of my friends as well. Since I have to bring in a full box I wanted to see if people wanted to get some stuff as well?

Pricing in Oz is crazy high!

That same thing has been tried all over the world many times, and it always - I said alwayzh - ends in a disaster. If it was so simple there wouldn't be any LFS and everyone would do it,
wouldn't they? ;)
Will you give the money back, when the Goldfake dies in 24h, or the rostratum arrives dead?
