has some info on lymphocystis a little more than halfway down the page, and a link to a page with more info as well. If you look at the last example photos they have for lympho, the cowfish, you can see the white nodules that I thought might be similar to what you are describing.
A magnifying glass could be helpful when you do the FW dip. Some flukes can be easily seen with the naked eye, but others require magnification. FW dips are helpful in diagnosing flukes, but as far as I know, just because you don't see anything in the dip container doesn't mean you don't have flukes.
UPDATE ! I just spoke to the main guy at nat'l fish pharmacy...
he said there is a very resistant type of flukes going around for about a year now...spread around by many of the wholesaler's across the country having it in their system...
They recommend their product called de-los ..its a 4 week tretment and very nasty stuff...they said praziquantel "may" eradicate them but de-los is more effective and kills the fluke eggs also... they said this is a very difficult fluke to eradicate ...
