Ben I think you might be confusing domain name registration fees and site hosting fees. I run a couple GoDaddy sites including my own and I assure you both those costs together are more than $12 per year. And GoDaddy is one of the more reasonably priced reliable web hosting companies.

I do want to swing by Jofish to see the pretty fishies though.

Not confused, just pulled a number of the top of my head to make the point that a simple site should be reasonably inexpensive to host. Looking at GoDaddy, it appears to be more like $7/mo for hosting. Plus reg fees, so probably not worth it.

Anyway, back to the Anthias.

Do people really have trouble going to west coast clubs and scrolling down to Wine Country Reefers?

If you guys really want a separate site I think the club could afford it but I think it would only serve to further dilute the level of posting and would have to be monitored by somebody to keep it current. The same prob MARS has had with their site recently. I personally like RC because of its depth and size.

Aquanut, maybe people did think my corals were Crap, guess I'll have to back off on giving them away.

Jeff, didn't you know, thats part of Ken's special blend already.

I will have to go back down to petaluma when i get a chance and check out the fish at Jofish, along with the corals.
I dont think your corals are crap Grant, and I would totally be interested in getting some but I would just hate to bring your hard work home just to murder it.

As much as it pains me to say, Grant has some very nice corals and does a great job with his tank. Combine those with his generous nature, and we are fortunate to have him in the club.

Woodandnut was just joking and I am sure he didn't mean it that way at all. Grant's have the best looking corals in the club and he is the most genrous reefer I know. Most of the corals donations for our raffles are from Grant. The club's fund couldn't have gottent this large without his donation. If I didn't killed them, most/all of the corals in my tank would have been coming from Grant ...lol

Using a wordpress backend to host a simple 10 page website with a unique domain name is not that expensive. I have a few friends that might be willing to host something like that on their servers for not much money. The DNS fee is less than $12/year. GoDaddy sucks anyways.

Regardless... It was good to see James back at Caesar's yesterday. Picked up the finishing pieces for my QT system. Decided on a Kessil a150 for lighting.

But man, Tom, glad you snagged that Mille. Some of the stuff at Caesar's yesterday was awesome. Can't wait to get my QT and frag system up so I can start cherry picking coral again.

Caesar's SPS stuff has gotten out of control good lately. Awesome.

I am glad he called me so I had the chance to get it. He knows I am crazy for Mille. Next on my list are: cherry bomb, tyree blue rainbow, sunset and sunrise Mille.

There were a couple other nice Milles there too. I don't have any Mille yet, that will be high on the list once the frag system is up.

You do know I was TOTALLY kidding, right? I know we all appreciate the offer of free quality corals from you. Hell, I appreciate it and I don't even have a tank set up yet!

Just for the record, my comment on Grant and his corals were not motivated by aquanut's comment. I thought that was funny. I get upset when Grant puts down his quality stuff that he worked hard to make look so nice. As much as I generally enjoy razzing him about anything else, he's got sps care dialed in.
