"Fish Tank Kings" on Nat Geo Wild

Who else was in a 50 yard dash in high heels and leider hosen this weekend? Yep, just me! That's who!

I have new respect for you after doing that!! Jess and I will be joining next year if you guys start an annual thing. Dunno about me in the heels though...lol.

*Back to topic* All the shows are the same I hope any new ones can change things a bit. :lol2:

Yes the show premise is from the perspective of 3 very long time hobbyists and is hobby focused.

And yes, I will be using that photo and any other footage of Mark like that for his episode!

Thank you! Thank you!

Wife organized it. 5K and a 50 yard "Stilleto Stampede" for dudes and sheilas. She raised about $20k through various efforts through our the year. The race was the finale this past weekend.

Proceeds went to a scholarship created in the name of one of her best friends who was murdered last summer. Katie Socci was a real gem and would have seen the humor in it. The lieder hosen seemed random enough to make it one step weirder on my part. Her early departure left a daughter who is almost exactly my daughters age an there have been several events to fund raise for her as well. This event was to do something that would create a legacy in Katie's name at Cayuga Community College that will go on as long as the school is open.

Sorry for dumping cold water on poking fun at Cully, but this thread is about "fish tank" shows isn't it?

FWIW, I couldn't get through 10 minutes of Fish tank kings.

holy shiz... i am watching tanked right now and that casino tank is massive!!!

gotta respect a build like that.

I also just like seeing the tanks and fish on tv. Even if i curse them the entire time.

Gotta have respect for ATM even if you don't like the show. A 30' tank is a huge undertaking. Living color had to outsource the tanks they needed for the Marlin's build.

keep this up

keep this up

and I might develop a desire to tune into one of those shows.

But somehow I doubt it.

Anybody see the Greece, (NY) Public Library's 30' long x 4'wide x 5?' tall fish tank? (Not sure of the exact dims but it's a huge sectional acrylic)
