Fish that eat nems

Hi All,

Does anyone know where I can find a list of all the fish that eat, or at least peck at, anemones ? If no such list exists, please let me know your experiences and I shall compile one.

ps: I am not referring to nuisance anemones (aptasia/majano etc) but rather clown hosting anemones...

I would have to say some of the large angels, and butterflies would have to be considered.

In my own personal experience I have had issues with a Blue Face angel (( would go after my Haddoni when the clowns weren't looking )), and an issue with a Bi-color dwarf angel.

off the top of my head, i think racoon butterflys have a wide diet that includes anemones.

Great idea! My lfs used to have a problem with a copperband that liked to nip at the tentacles of the BTA's they propagated.

You can put puffers on the list of anemone munchers, not tear them apart, but a taste here & a taste there. They cause a good bit of damage.

No probs .... may have overreacted..., sorry. Just think it would be good to have a list for anyone considering buying a new fish, and not wanting it to go for the price and joy nems....
