just wondering how many fish you keep in your sps dominate tank? and how many in your 40 br.looking to stock up my sps tank w/ reef friendly fish. got pics and info would be helpful. already have a rabbit fish,1 clarki clown other one just took a jump and lost him, and a dotti back w/ the typical dotti attitude.

I have 2 blue eye cardinals, 1 small red cardinal, tiny convict tang, 1 anthias, 1 chalk bass. Tank is Bare bottom 40 breeder

your rabbit fish will become too large. Also, the clarkii will eventually become a bully. Same with the dotti. Really you shouldn't add many more fish. Not necessarily because of bioload but more due to aggression.

If you want to trade in your current fish, you could look at a whole variety of others.. in my tank I have 2 saddlebacks (small and not aggressive now, and I have plans for them in the near future, when it becomes necessary) .. also have a Neon goby, one blue/green chromis, and a purple fire fish. I'll probably add an anthias or a wrasse or two. Gobies are fun, small, typically peaceful fish with great personality. Check them out.

the clarki is actually pretty cool and has gotten along with any fish i put in my tank.the rabbit fish is a temporary fish just there to work on some grass and doing an awesome job i may add, a big fat glutten.im thinking 2 or 3 chromis may be cool, power in numbers.gotta keep the dotti ill never get it out to much rock work and sps to take out stuck w/ it

so being the dotti and clarkii can hold their own i could actually put some kinda damsel fish in there too. they are reef safe.only problem is what goes in is pretty much there to stay.i will never get them out

2 tomato clowns and a yellow tang. I could have a few more but just havent found the right fish yet.

I'm just about done setting up my rockscape for my 40b. I'm thinking I'm going to throw 5 or so bangai cardinals in there. That wouldn't be too many would it?

I have 2 gsm clowns in a gbta, female about 3", starting to show aggression to everyone, male is two inches and fine. A two spot hogfish, awesome fish. Yellow watchman with tiger pistol shrimp, small 2 1/2" blue eyed tang, small target mandarin, and a blue stripe pipe fish.

fishoutawater, I really like the two spot hog and pipefish ideas.. I've been looking for a dragon faced pair and a hog for a while.

Also want to get the tank more mature before the pipes go in.
