Flame Angel hiding in the rocks

It depends on how big the hippo tang is and how long it will be there. If the hippo tang is less than 4", you should be OK with a 20 gallon "long" or a 29 gallon tank for a month or so. Those tanks are 30" long.

If the tang is bigger, it probably won't be happy in less than a 40 or 55 gallon tank even for a few days.

That said, I would sell the hippo back to the store for a fish that is more appropriately sized to your 75 gallon tank. It will never be happy in that small of a tank. You probably will have aggression if you let the flame settle in and then put the hippo back in. Look for a kole or a tomini tang instead.

I remove hippo tang 3 weeks ago and still no changes. Also yellow wrasse is aut one week. Im very upset... flame angel is in the rocks all the time. 2 monts and still waithing...

If he's still eating ok I would just wait it out. I've had a firefish hiding for 2 months after introducing a royal gramma. He's now just coming out.

Are you sure it's still alive?
Adding a bit more rock (more hiding places) might make it a bit more confident.
Oh, and your 'nemos' are called clownfish.

Yes, flame angel is still alive and eating but its hard to see him often. I rearange rock a little and im waithing to see him aut.
