Flame Angel

Just added a dwarf flame angel to a 30 gallon tank that had a pair of clownfish and a tail spot blenny. The clowns were fine with the Blenny but are now chasing the flame around. Anything I can do to save the angel?

What kind of clowns? Many types will dominate a 30 gallon. To be honest the 30 is pretty smal for the flame to begin with. If i wanted a flame in that size of tank, it would likely be the only fish, other than tiny gobies or blennies and the like.

Tank is too small for that combo of fish. I recommend referring to liveaquaria.com prior to buying your tank critters. They do a good job of tank size, temperament, food requirements and sometime tank mates. They recommend a minimum of a 70 gal tank. J

If you have a sump, you should place any aggressive fish in there for a week or 2 and rearrange the tank. When watching Finding Nemo, I thought he was so cute, I never thought he would be such an a**hole.

They must have changed that recently for about 5 years it said a 30 gallon min.
