thanks for the info Haddonisreef, did not know they can trade alge, very interesting, they do this by physical contact? or by just being in the same water?

your not being rude at all, i agree thats its quite bubblely and pretty, actually its the most prettiest of all the nems we have :)

Hows the FBTA making out? Any new pics? Mine is slowly coming back, but I don't think it is going to develop the yellow tips again.

hi frofan! our FBTA is looking better since we have it under full halide for a while now, i will post an update pic of it vs. our other RBTA, there is a noticable difference, you got me concern now, what do you think effect the yellow tips not coming back?

hi kase! you sure have a incredibly nice collection :D
you are not afraid of all those BTA exchanging colors/aglae, like one poster mention that it could happen? start slicing the ice fire BTA up allready! :D
 
No i have not slice any of them. The ice fire is pretty big. There are 3 anemone in there. Flame tip, Lemondrop, and IceFire.

i hope your yellow tips comes back, do you have any recent pics?

sorry about the bad pic,
but here what it looks like under full halide for some time, its since move a few days ago into the deeper part of the tank where taking a pic thru coralin is impossible,
i can see a difference between this BTA and our other RBTA, as the other RBTA are much more redish darker color,

Looks great in that picture and very distinguishable from the RBTA!
 
Well I'm sure as heck not a anemone professional but according to all the Flame Tip pictures I've been surfing through that looks like one for sure Lang. Someone may prove us wrong but I would buy that as a Flame Tip as well!!
 
solRNY, do you have any more pictures? I'm thinking about ordering another. Mine lived, but never regained its coloring.

glad your fbta is still alive steve! for a moment i was doubting ours would make it, its constantly on the move, moving all over the place, shrinking to near nothing, then expanding so large i thought it was going to split, but like your fbta, ours is losing its colors too, its not so brilliant anymore so i stopped taking pictures of it,

how about a lemon drop bta? my wife been wanting one, lets buy one and CUT it in half, a piece for you, a piece for her :D

btw, the clownfish was a awesome hook up from Jeremy at ABC :D
 
Very nice platinum! Let me know when you successfully cut the lemon drop and I'll be happy to split the cost.

Kase, do you have any splits your looking to sell?
