Flatworms on new red leg hermits.

Just bought some red leg hermit crabs from my LFS and before putting them in my tank, I noticed a few flatworms on their shells.
Any way to disinfect/remove the flatworms them before putting them in? Will a freshwater dip kill the hermits?

put them in a small container of tank water and just blow them off with a turkey baster. they come off easily.

Do you think there are any inside the shells?
