flatwrms what to do after they are dead?

Do you have to do anything after the flatworms are killed? vac them out or do a water change?

You have to get them out immediately because if you have alot of them 1 they will release a toxin that might hurt your livestock and 2 they will decay and spike your levels.

Did you use Flatworm eXit? If so, you need to get them out, as stated. Also, the directions say to run a fairly large amount of activated carbon, which I also did.

yes i used flatworm exit.

When I used FE, I got out every flatworm I could, ran new carbon, and did some water changes. Be careful! People have trashed tanks with FE.

I forgot about the carbon but yes you need to run a fairly large amount.
