About a month ago I got a Florida Condi from the wild it was maybe 3" in diameter when fully extended now it has grown to about 5" in diameter.... I have a 30 gallon tank...... what should I do???

Ken

Oh yeah it is now hitting the back of my tank....
and it ate my clownfish :sad1:

you may be able to take it to a LFS in exchange for store credit.

Mine is gettign pretty large as well (8-10" diameter with tentacles), but my wife loves it, so i don't know what i'll do with it.

I suppose i'll hope i can keep it around until i have a larger tank and the 46 can be "hers" and she can have her condy and damsel in it *lol*

bump no one has any advice???

Ken

My advice is to take it back to wherever you got it and do some research on anemones before getting another one. Either that or get a bigger tank.
If you can't take it back, then post it for sale on the selling forum of this board and see if you can send it on to a better home.
Good luck!

NEVER return fish to the wild!!!!!

You will unwittingly add disease and non native creatures to an established natural reef.

I might've misread that, but I thought that he had meant that he had gotten a wild caught Condy from a LFS.

take it to the pet shop. dont expect to get very much for it though. they retail for cheap and size isnt a factor
