Flow and Featherdusters

I just put a Seio 620 in my 29gallon which happens to have a huge amount of smallish featherdusters that came as hitchikers. I just put the powerhead in today and the featherdusters have barely come out of their tubes. I'm assuming this is due to increased flow, but will they adapt and come out eventually? Also the Seio is not pointed directly at them, in fact it is pointed at the other side of the tank.

They like a moderate flow. Just enough to carry them food and carry away waste products. To much flow and you won't see them.

Too much flow will overwhelm the feather duster (worm's)...or fan worm's...ability to draw their nutrition into thier "mouths."
