Flow induced Tissue Necrosis

What does this look like?

Say you have a couple colonies that are losing tissue at the base, but it is slow moving, and everything on the outside is staying fine, is it something to worry about.

This has been happening for about 2 weeks now and seems to have tapered off.

It started I believe when I turned up my tunze 6200's to full blast, back to 30% on an interval. I also incorporated some penductor nozzles.

Everything else in the tank seems to be appreciating the flow. Just have a couple acros "peeling" and 1 monti.

thanks

Check po4, alk, and for any possible pest.
These would be my starting points, flow would be 4th in line to the above, IMO...

The water tests are about the same. I'm picking up some phosphate, but just a tad on the salifert test kit. Can barely see it.

As far as the sand bed, I run crushed coral, hasn't really moved much.
